The story of Deaux Run Vineyard began in 2017, but its spirit was forged through decades of service. After retiring from the US Army, Greg sought a new mission: to transform a portion of their 110-acre Perkinston estate into a thriving Southern vineyard. Having traveled the globe with their family during Greg’s military career, he and Marshella brought home a deep appreciation for diverse cultures, breathtaking landscapes, and the power of hospitality.
What started with the careful planting of over 800 muscadine vines soon grew into a passion for stewardship. Greg spends his days outdoors, tending to each vine with the same discipline and care that defined his military service. Inspired by the natural beauty of the land and the architectural potential of the site, Marshella envisioned a venue that could pair modern sophistication with the quiet charm of the countryside. After years of meticulous design, that vision became the refined space you see today.
At our core, we are a family that thrives on connection. We founded Deaux Run as a place to assist others in crafting their most significant memories. Whether we are tending to the harvest or welcoming new couples to the estate, our goal is to provide a warm, inclusive, and elevated atmosphere for every guest.
Our journey is far from over. We are currently cultivating the future of Deaux Run, with plans to establish a boutique winery situated just across from the vines. We look forward to the day our guests can toast their celebrations with estate-grown wines crafted right here on the property.
